Earl Snider Is Back in the Building

This is big news for anyone who’s been with us from the beginning. Earl Snider — the owner who started it all — is back and managing the shop. Earl built Snider Auto Care on a simple promise: honest work, fair prices, and treating every customer like family. That hasn’t changed, and having him back at the helm means you can expect that same hands-on, owner-operated attention to detail that made this shop what it is today.

New Courtesy Check System Powered by Carfax

We’re always looking for ways to serve our customers better, and our new Courtesy Check system is a game changer. Every time your vehicle comes in for service, we now scan your Carfax vehicle history to review previously completed work. This lets us see what’s already been done — whether it was here or at another shop — so we can make smarter, more accurate recommendations for what your car actually needs next.

No more guesswork, no unnecessary upsells. If your brakes were replaced six months ago, we’re not going to recommend brake work. Instead, we’ll focus on what’s due based on your vehicle’s real history. It’s a better way to take care of your car, and it’s just one more reason you can trust us to do right by you.

Introducing Our Apprentice Program

Good technicians don’t grow on trees, and the auto repair industry needs more skilled, well-trained professionals. That’s why we’re launching a brand-new apprentice program designed to give aspiring techs a real path into the trade.

Our apprentice program isn’t just about learning on the job — it’s a full investment in the next generation. Apprentices will train alongside our experienced, ASE-certified technicians, getting hands-on experience with real vehicles and real repairs. And here’s the part that really sets us apart: we buy their tools. Anyone who’s looked into becoming a mechanic knows that the cost of professional-grade tools is one of the biggest barriers to entry. We’re removing that barrier entirely so new techs can focus on learning and growing without worrying about the financial burden of building a toolbox from scratch.
